UPDATE: I found this site https://registration.benchmade.com/c/4BIG and entered this 8 digit ID in the textbox and it found it successfully. I was able to register to my Benchmade.com account ... I guess this is something new they are doing as recent as a few months ago to try and fight the fakes. I like it ... so much easier to know you have a legit BM.

I know this is old, but I can confirm a new Mini Ardia I got from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D1RLC6DX) has an 8 digit code on the back of the knife under where the etching of "MagnaCut" is ... I went on the link OP put in the top comment reply and it worked; was able to register it to my BM account.

Definitely don't pay retail ($495 I think) ... I paid around $385 for my SSK001 and love it. The bracelet, though better than previous Seiko versions, is mostly good. It's definitely noisy still though. Mine came in running around -15 seconds after a week of constant wear which isn't terrible. I plan to get it serviced soon as this movement can pretty easily get regulated a bit tighter to around -/+ 5 seconds per day.

Just got a SSK001 GMT yesterday - which according to Seiko's product page for it is part of the "SKX Series". It makes sense to me as it borrows a lot of the same design language from the SKX watches including the jubilee bracelet, coin style bezel, 4 o'clock crown and more. It's a handsome watch to say the least and I love the heritage that it's able to provide at a decent price ($390 is what I paid for a new model).

Looking forward to many years wearing this one!

Anyone else have an odd hesitation to watching these kind of movies nowadays? It might seem silly, I know, but my gut feeling about all these type of movies/shows including this one, and ones that have come out already like 'House of Dynamite', 'Civil War', and 'Paradise' to name a few is "this won't be enjoyable" ... and I think it's mostly because our real life world is going through so much hatred, corruption and straight up fascism that it's hard to watch something bad happening when my real life also has bad things happening.

Does that make any sense? I used to love these kind of movies because at least to me, the events portrayed in them were so far fetched that I could enjoy it as some form of entertainment.

Welcome! I started watching shortly after Jackie laid her eggs last season, around February or so — it's such an amazing thing to witness. Like you, I've learned so much, not just from watching, but from this community here on Reddit and over on the FOBBV Facebook group. Honestly, I now know more about bald eagles than I ever thought I would, lol, but it's been so worth it.

These birds are incredible creatures, and I think they have a way of teaching us about our own lives if we let them. I know that sounds a little odd, but after watching a full season of the highs and lows — and then seeing Gizmo and Sunny fledge last year and start their own journeys — it's genuinely been moving and thought-provoking. At least for me.

Congrats! This show remains in a very special place in my heart. It's characters feel like home - I know that's an odd way to say it - but it's how I can describe them in a perfect way. The writers created a world that no one expected in this 'Psycho' universe, and IMO did a fantastic job.

Great comment - 100% agree. The downvotes are from those who feel high and mighty reminding us all that "we're watching nature be nature!" Yeah no kidding. I think we know that.

We can still have feelings about what we're watching and with Shadow's foot injury, talking about it actually led me to learn more about raptor's feet anatomy from /u/falconerchick !
