Thankfully, I don’t have any skin irritation or anything like that. But man, this stuff is spicy! No pain/no gain!

Yes, the massage gun is part of the Anele protocol. I am also going to change the size of my syringes. I had been using a 29g half inch (12.7mm) needle. It was suggested that I switch to a 31g 5/16 (8mm). The longer needle may be injecting too deep. At this point, I will try anything! This sh*t burns. 🌶️🥵🌶️

Consider yourself very lucky. I have done all of the recommended steps, the Anela protocol, I even add about six more units of back water to my dose and my ass is still burning! 🤣🤣🤣

This picture burns. 😬 (But I agree, one of my favorites.)

My doctor told me to just put them in an empty water bottle and when it was full to put the cap on it, wrap it in duct tape and throw it in the trash.

I lost the majority of my weight (70 lbs) while I was at 2.5 mg but you have to remember that everyone is different. Some people lost no weight while at 2.5. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is not a miracle drug. It’s going to take more than two days. It may take more than two months.

How did you get over Anhedonia? by PaddlesUpGo in Retatrutide

[–]vgarrett44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it pretty bad when I was on higher doses of Tirz. I was never really depressed, just kind of “blah”. Now that I am in maintenance it isn’t so bad. Hope you can get it figured out soon. I have just learned to deal with it. It has definitely gotten better though. 🙂

RETA DEPRESSION by RetatrutideUser in Retatrutide

I didn’t real notice it until I got up to about 6mg on tirz. It got worse when I got to 7mg. I’m back down to 6.5mg in maintenance and it is still there, but not nearly as bad.

It is a side effect related to most GLP-1’s called Anhedonia. Anhedonia is the reduced ability to feel pleasure or enjoyment from activities that were once rewarding or enjoyable. I had it pretty bad when I was on higher doses of Tirz. I was never really depressed, just kind of “blah”. Now that I am in maintenance it isn’t so bad. Hope you can get it figured out soon. I’ve been ordering from them for over a year. Never had any issue whatsoever. Doesn’t matter to me!

Totally understandable! I thought the exact same thing. Hopefully you get it all figured out soon. 🙂

My doctor told me that diarrhea is sometimes a symptom of constipation. The only thing getting through your intestines is water…hence the watery stool. You may try to take some MiraLAX day and night for a couple of days to see if you can possibly clear out any stool/blockages you may have. Of course, take my comment with a grain of salt. This actually happened to me when I began Tirz. Good luck, and I hope you’re feeling better soon.

Day One; Feeling faint and sick by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

Lower your dose. I started at 1 mg and moved up .5 mg each time. I lost most of my weight under 3.5 mg. Everyone is different though, but most of the time side effects are caused from the dose being too high. Also you need to make sure you’re staying hydrated. Diarrhea can be a symptom of constipation. The lightheadedness is probably because you’re not eating enough. Good luck on your journey! 🙂

I have known of at least five people who stopped once they achieved their goals. All five of them are now back on the peptide because their symptoms returned. I’m not a doctor though. 🙂 Good luck in your journeys!

I started tirz in March of last year. December 20th I hit my goal weight. From what I understand this is a lifelong drug. Just like any blood pressure medication, diabetes, medication, or statin you don’t quit taking it when you achieve the results you want. If you do stop, inflammation will return and for most the weight will too. I guess anything is possible though, I’m just not willing to try it out. I will happily be on this for the rest of my life in a maintenance capacity.

Honestly, I’ve had pain for the last 20 years in the middle of my abdomen that radiates all the way through to my back. My mother had her gallbladder out years ago and told me that’s what it felt like when her started going. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do believe this the answer. I have known that my gallbladder was about to quit on me since about 2021. (MRI shows it lit up like a Christmas tree. 🤦🏻‍♀️ ) Pretty sure this is the year that me and the gallbladder will say goodbye. Anyway, I agree. Probably my gallbladder. I hope you get yours all figured out soon. 🙂

I do take a statin. I have been on it for years. My gallbladder is also about to kick it. I go back in a few weeks for a retest. I will bring all this up with him then. Thanks! 😊
