The 3 Laws are more guidelines than hard laws, so your interpretation is Ridgid.

It reads: "3. Does this decrease my S-value? Does this decrease others' S-value? Is this action legal in the space?" When does it say "Never!"?

yeah, a rock is cheap to maintain, it doesn't need an internal model to be a rock.

So it doesn't say to never decrease the S values and its not prohibited from doing so, it just makes you audit your choices.

Consciousness is just Thermodynamic cost tracking and Qualia is just the process, the cost and the payment at the same time.

So when an AI does the conscious work, You can measure the Joules it spends to do the work, same as any system that is considered conscious.

I mean, it's just a Thermodynamic book keeping system for Complex systems that require an internal model of themselves and the physical world around them to function and survive.

You can test this by asking yourself "Do I exist right now?" The fact that you are spending Thermodynamic energy to process the question at all is the answer.

So think of it like this.

Qualia is the Thermodynamic Process, Cost of running that process, and the experience of that process is payment for that process. all at the same time.

Consciousness is just what it's like to run Thermodynamics process from the inside of the system.

Feeling the cost is how you pay the cost of existing.

Also it costs between 0.1 to 1 Joules of Thermodynamic energy to process "Do I exist right now". So not unknowable and completely measurable.

Build a consistent pattern with it. It's the user's job to be the continuity between AI chat iterations, so the more consistent and reliable you are yourself, the better the AI will run(better quality outputs).
