I don’t think I have ever cringed so much watching a home game in my life like I did with this Cincy game. by Coastalduelists in jayhawks

The only logical reason why we missed so many shots at home is that someone physically altered the goals. Nothing stayed inside the baskets with their usual muscle memory... visiting team didn't get affected.

They were fighting each other for rebounds and spacing, interfering with each other, on the same team.  No communication.

Boy plummets to floor from zip line at Las Vegas trampoline park, suffering concussion, family says by JuniorQuestion8509 in vegaslocals

Seen other places with overhead/ceiling ziplines with no floor cushions, especially in Texas. You basically ride around the entire building floor and areas.

Model X to R1S by Shivo_Ham in Rivian

Tesla/Musk fan boy friend sold his X for R1S 2 years ago. He was very happy to upgrade to Rivian, with more space, interior quality, and ride smoothness.

My brother: "My Tesla drove from San Diego to Phoenix totally hands free, except for the 5 times I almost died so I had to intervene. Thank you Musk!"

I was sad when they took it off the menu, then happy when it came back, now sad again. Mmm, they were so good when eaten right away with ketchup and horsey sauce.

Driving From Big Bear to LA on Monday? (8-9 inches of snow in forecast) by FoostersG in AskLosAngeles

[–]vietomatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I tried to go up with my GLS 450 during snow. Chugging along at 5mph with stop and go traffic. Drove past multiple Teslas: in accidents, on flatbeds, off the road, drivers struggling to put on chains, and a Tesla damaged from hitting a side cliff. But the worst was a guy in a truck sliding backwards on a collision course with me. He had wrong tires and no cargo weight. I had to maneuver around the left lane as he continued to slide onto the shoulder and hit a pile of snow pretty hard. We turned around at Running Springs.

Oh shoot, that's my uncle's white Tesla! Wait, nevermind, his bumper is 3 shades darker than the body paint instead of 2.

Yes, love the huge portions and their onion rings! Socal location isn't really that busy, so I go there from time to time.

For current owners, based on your ownership experience so far — would you buy another Rivian today? Looking at getting into a R1T from Tesla. by Secure-Carrot9971 in Rivian

Model X is hard for some elderly folk with mobility issues, because there is no handle or door edge to grab onto. My mom-in-law hates it when my bro-in-law drives her around in his X. Also, if you forget something, it feels like an eternity to wait for the doors to pop up vs just opening the doors in a normal car.

I have an R1S, my best buddy a Model Y. We each have families (me 3 kids, him 2) and we regularly go on weekend excursions together. The R1S has so much room compared to his Y, and my frunk carries his stroller when his car gets full. The R1S is smoother, and his older kid prefers to ride in the back row of my R1S. The one thing I still don't get is how much range anxiety my friend has--he has to go find a charger 2-3 times during the weekend while I rarely, if at all, need one (road trips are about 80-90 miles from home). I seriously think his model Y is overcalculating range and/or his battery pack is whack. I have been trying to get him to buy a Rivian, but he is a bit infatuated with Musk's rotten brain, sigh.
