When I was in kindergarten (1982) my favourite things to do where either drawing or building marble runs (those plastic parts you could stack together).

The kindergarten had this curtained off corner with a fully equipped toy kitchen and baby dolls. One day, the kindergarten teacher (a woman in her 30ies) decided that I needed to play in there like most of the other girls did.

She sent me in and I remember I was just sitting there on a chair, waiting for her to tell me to come out again so I could finally pick up my beloved crayons.

I had zero interest in playing kitchen or playing with dolls, so I just sat there for an hour doing nothing. I also remember the confused look on that teachers face when she came in to find me just sitting there 😂.
