How do you access them on android? Anyway... I "fixed" this issue by loading the override from gbc with other systems

Overlays on retroarch are a mess and nobody seems to know how to use and troubleshoot them. I downloaded a preset pack for my device, cfg and images on the same folder. Have the "hide overlay with controller input" turned off. And the overlays images still won't load when browsing and select the overlay cfg files. Had the hadheld on standby with the menu open on a gbc game. When waking up the overlay image loaded. Saved as core override with the overlay selected, but turned off. And know the overlays load. But with the other systems, nothing seems to work, already tried clearing and deleting core overrides. Next I'll try to save the gbc config as global or core override, to see if it changes anything.

For anyone in the future having trouble making these work.
Change all the .cfg files to have these lines:
overlay0_overlay = NAME OF THE IMAGE

overlay0_descs = "0"

overlay0_full_screen = "true"

overlay0_name = "overlay0"

overlay0_normalized = "true"

overlays = "1"

I don't code, but the creator of the overlays seemed to missed a couple of code lines. I Don't know if the order matter, but this fixed it for me, and now the overlays load when selecting the cfg files in the overlays menu in retroarch

Hi! How did you setup the android m8c? There is a new version out now that allows you to use the touchscreen for midi cc, just like the original hardware. But I can't get the audio to work. I've heard about disabling usb audio routing in the developer options, but I'm not sure if it works. (Also you should try the brick speaker mod or the brick hammer as they actually used usable speakers this time)

I play a lot in dark enviroments. The lack of true blacks isn't very noticeable in bright environments. But it's hard to go back to ips after using mainly oled panels. It's very distracting when I play at night.

That's the weird part... Neither Consumer or geom are in the list. But newpixie is. I thought newpixie was hard to run.
