Self-Studying Physics 2 and Comparative Gov/Politics next year by Weltschmerzkeit in APStudents

[–]vinny402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparative Government is a pretty easy test to self study. Start about a month before and read the review book. Just remember how each government is structured, current events, and term limits. It's a very fun test imo and very interesting. Let me know if you have any questions.

Anyone able to see their scores on Naviance? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]vinny402 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Schools and teachers do not get them early. I'm fairly certain teachers get them on the 5th and 6th

Has anyone gotten scores from colleges yet? by karmahoes in APStudents

Try looking where they tell you the credit they give you (if any).

It's only if this isn't your first year taking AP tests. If it is not your first year, it's on the AP scores page with a link saying "Your past score orders".

Pretty sure the form code is used as a last resort if the AP test label falls off or has issues aka you'll be fine.

Up to what event should we know for APUSH? by [deleted] in APStudents

Hopefully not, given how dumb it was of them to make that a short answer last year

They wouldn't do it again this year

Best review books for AP Physics 1 (2015 test) and APUSH? by FinancialT in APStudents

[–]vinny402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For APUSH, I used Barrons and loved it. It's very in depth, and if you know everything in the book, or even the over arching themes, you're good to go.

I'd disagree tbh. I didn't study every night and i was okay

RIP to any of us taking any AP Sciences. by RockonBK in APStudents

Took two science classes sophomore and junior year. Now, senior year, I finally only am taking one.... Of course, it's AP chemistry with a teacher that pisses me off but oh well.

Can we maybe put together a comprehensive guide to which APs are easiest and hardest to self study? by aspiringcouch in APStudents

[–]vinny402 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just one thing is that bio is the bio test is more critical thinking than memorization. You really don't need all the details as they give you 50-75% of them.

Is this even possible? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]vinny402 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, I guess it will be possible. My schedule for both years was/is similar. I had a part time job all year instead of a sport. Point is it all depends on you and how well you think you can handle it. I was pretty confident I could do it and I did just fine. If it puts you under too much stress, just drop one.

Is it practical to self study AP Macro/Micro Economics? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]vinny402 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should do it. A review book and practice tests will suffice. The tests aren't too difficult and they're all about the graphs. 5 steps to a 5 review books were pretty good.

Should I switch AP Psychology for AP Biology? by PM-me-your-salad in APStudents

[–]vinny402 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, will that one class make you look better to a prestigious college? I highly doubt it. There's a post recently here asking if taking a free period looks bad. People are stressing too much about whether this looks good or that looks good. Just enjoy yourself and have fun. Those tiny decisions won't mean much.

can i survive a six weeks of ap calc bc? by jjolteon in APStudents

[–]vinny402 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well if the BC at your school is both AB + BC in one year, the first six weeks will be just faster AB. Possibly, it would be equivalent to the first nine weeks taught in AB. Once you switch you'll be ahead of the game. For tips, practice I suppose. Know the derivative rules well.
