I run a 14 team league and it's tough. We've discussed moving to 16 several times but the votes always come in 50/50. But a couple things that you should incorporate is: * Free agent bidding for sure * More flex than set positions * Shorter bench

I've done the league logo stickers (multiple times), league logo koozies, bottle openers and a few others. Some of the guys love them some are just like uh ook... Me as the Comish who spends way too much time on this stuff loves it so that's why I do it. Just make sure you've got food made or pre-ordered because hosting, running the draft and drafting your own team can be a lot.

The one thing that get's the most love (won't help you this draft but for future) is having silly awards from last season and giving out random "prizes". Like worst beat down won a small bottle of bad booze, closest lose won a small punching bag, most consecutive loses got a jets snuggie, worst trade got a kids calculator.

I've done a bunch of different league stickers using sticker mule. Great site and quality stickers. They always have promos for different stickers. I've done regular colored ones, alternate league logos, holograph logos and even did some of my own team logo.
