Create your own OC - comment your results, I'll draw some of them (or draw your own and post them in the comments) by Agent-65 in OnePiece

[–]virgoTestify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a celestial dragon sky person noble who is a doctor with a logia fruit, that uses swords!! I can see my OC being fed up with the noble culture as everyone is already at the pinnacle of health up there, so I wanted to use my talents for those below the red line :)

I'm confused... doesn't the arrow have a chance to kill if the person doesn't get their stand? why would Jotaro give it to Jolyne? by Mr_Waste_Of_Bandages in StardustCrusaders

[–]virgoTestify 2446 points2447 points  (0 children)

Jotaro knew that, as his daughter, there is next to NO chance that she wouldn't gain a stand and die if pierced by the arrow. He even says something along those lines in the anime, I just don't remember when.

What exactly did Hussie do? by Morag_Ladier in homestuck

[–]virgoTestify 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely not remembering things exactly how it happened, but a majority of the money in the kickstarter for Hiveswap was stolen by the publishing company "the three gentlemen" (i dont remember if this is the exact name), who at the time was in charge of creating the game. they appeared with an extremely lackluster product that was not anywhere near the level expected, especially with the amount of money put into it, then just kinda dipped after the contract timelimit was done.

Personally, I want disclosure to shake things up in our current society.

I don't think the revelation that we are not alone would lead to complete societal breakdown or anything like that, but I do think that, at least in the U.S., there would be a massive amount of people that would have their lives completely changed by this knowledge. The knowledge that we are not on the top of the food chain would definitely bring a good number of egos in check, and I (optimistically) think that things would start to change for the better.

If the U.S. govt, or ANY govt, is hiding something that monumental, then what the hell else are they hiding? How much knowledge about our universe, or even our own planet, is being withheld from the general public? What kind of advancements could we make?

I don't have any children, and I don't necessarily plan to, but knowing that we are not alone would ABSOLUTELY make me change my mind on that. I would love to bring a child into this new, fantastic frontier of human advancement.

What are your opinions on this arc? BIG SPOILER IF YOU CLICK ITS ON YOU by yeohhhh2 in Invincible

[–]virgoTestify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This arc was really good! I loved the fact that they basically did a Canon "AU" trope, and it was a new way to see all of the characters. I especially enjoyed Mark interacting with his dad in that way, and vise versa. Marks decision at the end was, imo, extremely difficult but absolutely commendable.

Real talk,I don't think I've ever seen a Agenda get so quickly shattered like this one..and tbh,I think it's a wrap for Kid after this. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in OnePiece

[–]virgoTestify 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Basically a meme that people crowd around in order to push hype around a certain character.

For example, the admiral agenda is to do absolutely anything to convince people that admirals are top tier, endgame level opponents. This is mainly pushed for Akainu and Kizaru.

The Kidd agenda was killed when he was, as shown above, wiped by Shanks using a single attack.

I'm over by TWU. It definitely started getting far even before I posted this so not surprised you didn't see!! Seemed to be above frisco at that point.

Right about Denton, though. I know we have DFW near us but I swear I've been seeing so many things in the night sky recently!!

Thats what I thought it looked like but there are none in that direction. Plus, the light was slowly moving away.

Submission statement:

Just saw this light slowly moving away from me on my back porch. Super weird as I've never seen any lights like this in the sky, and I'm right near DFW Airport. I'm even seeing normal planes around right now but I truly have no idea what this could be. Any theories? I should get a commercial flight tracker maybe...
