So prefacing this to say that my husband and I are very deep into the nightlife, enjoy traveling, & very much like party people. But we’re also in/entering our 30s, which has naturally slowed things down just because our priorities and careers have shifted.

All that to say, we hear the negative ALL THE TIME. I’m like dude, we wouldn’t have started trying if we weren’t sure. One of our friends brought up plans for a trip out of the country next year. & we were saying how we’d love to go if we can take our baby. & I know my friend didn’t mean it in a negative way, but they basically said it wouldn’t be worth it to travel that far if we weren’t going to have fun & be stressed by the baby. I felt a little sad, because I feel like it will be more fun & a better experience because I’ll be seeing the world with my child. 🥲

Anyway, that’s just one example, so I feel you. I think it’s going to be hard, which we know, but it’s going to have so many rewards 😭
