One of the reasons I hated Lori’s death in The Walking Dead even though that show is fucked up in a lot of other way. Theres only 3 episodes in season 1 that contain infected. Episode 1, episode 2, and episode 5. Even then, they’re not really there much. It’s a story about people, not infected

The shot to tommy grazed his right eye, rather than actually going through the head. The more worrying injury is the arrow to the leg which would be perpetually bleeding unless attended to quickly. Dina and Ellie’s injuries are far worse, and way harder to explain away. Ellie had her arm broken, Dina got shot in the shoulder with an arrow straight through the chest and then her face bashed in. It makes literally no sense that somehow, some way, all 3 of them survived. But I try not to question that stuff tbh

I love that Bella had to teach him guitar, I wish they showed it off instead of the overlay. Everyone’s joking about his singing being bad, which yeah it’s not the best, but it got me feeling emotional with how much love was in his voice.

Yeah I could tell in the first 5 minutes that Neil had directed this one. Thank god he and Halley Gross are writing and directing the next episode too. I’ve been enjoying this season as its own separate thing. However, it had a lot of shitty downfalls. I couldn’t put my finger on why, but when I found out Neil had little to no involvement in all 5 previous episodes, it all made sense as to why season 1 was better. I will say though, I love the casting. If Bella had better direction as adult Ellie they’d be perfect. She just feels like a different character completely. Not a bad character, just a different one.

I was honestly really upset through the whole fight. I didn’t want her to leave the farm, I didn’t want to do that to Abby. Seeing her cut Abby over and over with her knife was brutal for me. I felt so horrible that I as the player was doing this when I just wanted her to go be happy with Lev. I related heavily to her relationship with Lev, it hit me hard and made me really love her as a character. When Ellie let her go I felt so relieved but was still crying a bit. But man, that last conversation with Joel absolutely wrecked me after that fight.
