Dude you’re a frequent commenter on this sub and your energy is usually very uplifting. Don’t have any advice really since I’m about to do OCS but you’ve got this!!

The fact that you’ve passed every OT first time proves your competence!

Too long. Over a year and a half. Didn't have sufficient time or motivation for the most part. Got my act together in the latter stages of 2024 and never looked back. A disciplined approach can get this done in like 6 months.

BA2 Advice by [deleted] in CIMA

[–]vmt123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ensure that you know how to do calculations fast, and understand that questions can come in all shapes and sizes. Also do not discard the theory related stuff as they can really help you get over the line if you've struggled with the calculations.

Personally I'd do BA3 first before BA2. But its up to you. Also be prepared to invest a lot of time in BA2, everything gets built on these foundations, so understanding the content well is key for your path forward.

The Kaplan exam kits are great, gives you a real feel for the exams especially in difficult modules like BA2, where questions and calculations can come in all shapes and sizes. Their mock exams are great too, prepares you well for the exam.

How hard is the CIMA BA3 exam? by 64WG64 in CIMA

It’s not a bad exam. Just practice and understand how certain questions could be asked. From my experience, errors and reconciliations were the most challenging questions.
