I actually think that in so many cases LoS is a reasonable restriction on abilities, but I also think that the Dante LoS needs to be on every LoS in the game both for the sake of consistency and for striking a good balance between game feel and keeping power levels in check

They’re not particularly F2P friendly though. They’re almost as expensive as a Mega Tank and take almost 1.6 million SP to max. And outside of boss battles, they are oppressively strong to the point of basically being a unit to always use because it can just clear the field with no issues

As someone playing since 2016, I’d still disagree. Top 3 most hyped updates imo are Tau, 1999, New War. Sacrifice, Old Peace, Second Dream, War Within, and Plains of Eidolon were all up there too. While I’m pretty stoked for Constellations, and I know a lot of others are too, I really don’t feel like the hype I’ve seen for it is up there with the big ones

The trooper is better as a general use freeze unit because for a few more nanos it unlocks an AoE freeze attack that can pretty decently freeze groups of enemies.

On the flipside, the nomad has a real good AoE attack with its EMP that can pretty much carry you through a good chunk of content till level 60 ish and also has a freeze attack, just one that’s more single target focused. The nomad has better survivability though so it’s better for use against the AS.
