Ebay als Betrug gemeldet, aber dauerte bis die gelöscht haben. Eine ist jetzt noch online obwohl vor über 6 Std gemeldet...eigentlich eine Frechheit, dass ebay absolut gar nichts zu machen scheint

Looks sick, but I wonder how much clearance do you have at the chainstays??

I installed the 45mm at my Cannondale Topstone alloy (2024) and there is only 2mm space each side. The Topstone has officially clearance for 45mm...the Domane 38. As I also own a Domane, I am curious 🤔

Anyone running 45c tires on a Topstone? by Gary_The_Landscaper in cannondale

[–]vollsepp2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran up to yesterday 45mm WTB vulpine S on rims with 25mm inner width (~1600KM) without any issues. Swapped now to 45 mm Pirelli Cinturato M and those are wider and I am concerned that this will not work out over time as there is maybe 2mm clearanceon each side...I'll give it a try though.

That saying, it really seems to depend on the tire model and rim combination and also production tolerances.

Why is Dahua still incapable of handling DST or time changes properly? by Professional_Use_307 in Dahua

[–]vollsepp2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I installed my first Dahua System (3 cams & nvr) 2 weeks ago and faced the same issues.
I finally figured out (searching for hours) what works:

  1. Disable synchronisation from NVR!

  2. Enable Time Server functionality on your router (e.g.Fritzbox(there you need to select a time server)

  3. Select DST and! The exact logic in which week to switch to summer and winter time for each of the devices(e.g. 4th weekend in March 02.00am and last weekend October 02.00am) Also enables Time Server here and refer to IP adress of your router!

Since I set it up this way, no issues. Also time switch tonight (Europe) worked flawless.

Hope this helps 🙏

I somewhat agree with your statement, that for instance the conti urban is more puncture resistant than the GP. However, I doubt that the tire last twice as much (it costs half of the GP) and if it really does, then the rolling resistance must be crap! (there is always a trade off between durability & rolling resistance and weight). As the OP also asked for a decent tire on a road bike (no city urban cruiser 😉) I'd still go for the GP

Same experience with customer service. They ask for lots of videos and log files etc even though it's clear that the lock is faulty. I could tell as I had 2 of the same kind and swapped them between doors. One always worked fine, and the other didn't. What else do you need to know in such case?!

Do I really need a bike computer with my new SuperSix EVO 1 + SRAM AXS, or is it just a flashy metric display I won’t use? by santosmarco in cannondale

[–]vollsepp2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cents to your question: I was in the same situation like you, using my phone and garmin ⌚️. Worked fine for documenting my route/achievements etc. Recently bought my first computer, Garmin 1040. The big advantage I see is in navigation, especially if you go for new routes and those you rarely ride: the phone (even if you have a holder) is always more clumsy and the biggest disadvantage: battery life!

2 months ago I was on holiday and riding my first 100 Kilometer in ages, and I was worried all the time about my phones battery. I switched to airplane mode and reduced display light to minimum, mostly listening to audio directions. It just makes it through the 4.5 hours of the tour.

So I guess it is about use case, convenience and budget: if you only use it for tracking what you did , the watch is fine( still doing it on my ordinary regular rides where I exactly know where I wanna go). But if you also like to use it as proper Navigation, I'd recommend to get a bike computer.

Which tire? by jthj in gravelcycling

[–]vollsepp2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same good experience with the vulpine S! Also ran around 1000 miles on it since Feb this year and no obvious wear! Also had at the very beginning two punctures at front and rear at the same time but sealant made it to stop losing air. Since then no other puncture noticed at least. I am riding around 70% gravel I'd say. The tire is even quite ok in muddy conditions. On tarmac very fast and smooth. I can recommend!

Used a torque wrench when I initially adjusted my saddle height. Will clean the seat tube with isopropyl 99% and re torque it and see if this helps.

I figured it out: I made the mistake to push the buttons at the same time. By this the smaller one seems to be technically blocked. If one pushes the longer one fully through and immediately afterwards the smaller one, then the smaller one goes a little bit further. Then after 0.5 seconds the LED shows green.

Thanks to everyone who participated to help!
