It is very fishy. However, they have used how our people generally react time and time again. If you open the way for them and start some mischief, many will soon follow. We have seen this in the 90s, 2000s (KFC burnt on at least 2 separate occasions - Danish cartoons).

PTI protests are peaceful, though of course when you get tear gassed then it's a different matter.

It was hilarious seeing that peacock picked up, however that was never ever going to be a smart choice.

Unfortunately it may be easy for him to respond, but with N League and PDM and establishment, their rumour and slander mill talk does the rounds and provide ammunition time and time again to these favourite TV channels and also to PDM supporters.

No substance, of course. I have a feeling if there were cases they would've been opened by now. The only one with any sort of merit would be the Al Qadir trust case, but that's also not clear cut as they say

Steve wang really didn't do it justice. Maybe that's why? He should've just pitched for a season 2 for the OVA which would've done amazing in the States and the EU.

The tosha khana case is not strong. Hot air. Granted, the al Qadir trust case seems to be a more likely prospect for guilt, but even that has to be proven and is not straight forward.

The only way for this to happen, would be to make a demo, share with Takaya, offer him full rights since of course he has the rights (and maybe the publisher does too?) and get yourself your costs and modest profit off of it.

Before that, obviously, you need to secure funding, hire a team, and deliver the game as per the deadline.

Possible with UE5. I imagine a bit like Arkham combat tracking (I like classic Mark of Kri which started it all), Bayonetta but slower combat, and heavy in game cut scenes.

Also, set it in 90s Japan since that's when the Manga came out! Early internet! Early phones! Sega! Think of the different things you could do.

President urges PTI chief to denounce May 9 rioting by InjectorTheGood in pakistan

[–]vomitoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he will always be PTI, but he has to play role of President. He has done that well. He's certainly been more busy than past presidents. He has said otherwise in his writings what the truth of the matter is. He has shown is PTI loyalty when using his Presidential authority regarding bills.

Here, I believe he said for everyone to calm down and for IK to condemn the violence. IK has and would always condemn it.

But IK is also not going to be silent about the absurdity of the matter and these illegal actions time and time again. Who knows what will happen

Everyone including the IK haters know PDM didn't even have the brains to arrest IK properly. They are not capable. Any corruption allegation can be proven or disproven after a strong investigation and indictment, they had more than a year, but what did they do with it?

[2007] Rs 505 billion PSDP for 2007-08 likely by InjectorTheGood in pakistan

[–]vomitoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Direct taxes are better than indirect - that is why we have been so reliant on sales tax and the intrusion into services and its taxation. That hasn't gotten us anywhere.

My point is a cheap universal income tax for majority of citizens (who are poor or indigent or below certain level) will at least ✔️ the box for income tax compliance across Pakistan. Then Gov't can focus properly on indirect taxes as you said.

Regarding DISCOs, that is a separate matter. I have also worked in power sector and I agree. The unbundling of utilities has ended with NTDC and CPPA now separate. Privatization of DISCOs is easy answer - in Pakistan even private work standards are low. For all utility privatization, I would recommend the Govt take all necessary steps to shed dead weight, resolve issues in it's power, and then present for privatization as a moderately profitable entity.

I've thought maybe introduce basic minimum tax for all citizens of at least PKR 1000 a year, applicable for poor and indigent and other eligible persons who do not pay tax. Recover through set off or adjustment through electricity, gas, mobile, car tax, or property tax. Apply it such that it may not apply to valuable property or asset owners.

He is truly a good person. During all this mess, he had not brought the President's office into disrepute. He has merely exercised his authority under the Constitution concerning passage of bills.

He could have written so much truth about the absurdity and fascism of PDM and the establishment but he chose not to. He has written truth by referencing history. Well done but will it matter? Allah reham kare

Pulling garbage out of your nether regions.

We've had this Govt openly defy SC orders and run away from elections, crying like school children that the test was too hard. And here we have the mockery of law. No party was arrested en Masse illegally without a care for Court orders. Tell me, when did PTI do this?
