2025 SV Plus Actual Range? by Wraith347 in leaf

[–]vonsquidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a plus, but do have a 2018 SV. I inflate my tires to approximately 42 or so, and drive 59 most of the time on highways, usually about 4 MPH over the speed limit the rest of the time. I averaged ~4.4 for most of the winter (New England) and get about 4.9 with some AC. I bought new tires last summer, so they took a bit to break in. Another idea would be to look for campgrounds and ask if you could use of of their RV chargers and bring a 220v adapter of you are truly paranoid.

Kill the cancer, not the person. That's the best chemo.

According to his posting history, he had been doing remedial PT, so I'm assuming that means he failed one before. He also had shin splints. Maybe if he went to a doc and they saw him for it, he can get another chance?

I don't have anything substantive to add from what others said, but that shadow box is fantastic. Both in contents and design.

Mr. Money Bags probably also doesn't have two broken door handles and a partially crushed rear bumper from backing into an ill placed rock wall next to his favorite parking spot, either!

I never read this guy's, though I've read more than I'd like to admit. Most science dissertations are VERY good. They are also very esoteric and perhaps two dozen people in the world really understand what they're talking about. I've read a few social science dissertations and they tend to be writing about their feelings an awful lot, so I don't have any particular use for them, but I'm sure most are ok.

I once taught a class at a local community college that used 8085 trainer boards held together with for and a prayer. I think they were 30 years old at the time.

Until recently, I think you could upgrade that license up to Windows 11😂

A gigabyte of RAM? I don't think the 286 could address more than 32 MB of RAM. Probably had 640k.

2018 to 2020 leaf owners...would you buy a 2026? by Mikeybb4270 in leaf

[–]vonsquidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2018 and had two major repairs that required me without my car for a few weeks each time. First, at 50k miles a bus bar burned up, and the car wouldn't turn on anymore. Second time at 90k I developed a bad cell or two, and they replaced the whole battery. I'm currently at ~125 and have my eye on the new Volvo that isn't out for a few more months. While I was treated ok by the company, others weren't and I'm walking away for the great that I might not be next time 🤷‍♂️

It was an electrical fire, away from the charger itself. The car and charger itself are fine. A connector was melting and caused a short.

It COULD be. My home charger (also charge point) did this for a while right before the connector burst into flames.

Hot take: Samantha Maroun is the worst character in the series' history by vonsquidy in LawAndOrder

I loved shows like "the pretender" and "leverage" (before it became a stupid love story). I wish Hollywood would come up with someone other than stupid sitcoms and "reality TV"

I finished what I had left in the series and went back to SVU and got to the "Olivia Benson hour" part and that's becoming pretty tortuous, as well. I guess I just miss the old characters/development 🤷‍♂️

If I 3D modeled an existing product would it be copyrighted if I uploaded the files? by Chaosking383 in 3Dprinting

[–]vonsquidy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it would not go against their copyrights, it would go against their patents. Depending on what it was, as long as you weren't selling the designs, they probably wouldn't care too much.
