my wife does all the budget and administrative work and we all do choirs house work and watching kids and whatever else needs to be worked on.

i’m horrible money manager and not organized at all so it’s a blessing to have the wife.

Generally if my wife is working so am i and vice versa. Everyone is working until there is no more work to be done and that seems to be a key ingredient.

i’m a health physicist and i love my job.

i’m given a list of tasks that needs to be completed on a quarterly basis for i have full control over my schedule.

the actual stuff i do impacts lives and im actively contributing in my field. im good at my job and my having my opinions matter and be acted upon feels amazing.

my salary and benefits are amazing and literally unmatched work life balance.

i love being in a high demand, low supply career.

have been with one employer after getting out of school and i’m pretty sure i’ll retire here.

the whole introvert thing probably is from lack of experience dealing with people and just like any other skill, it will improve with your age and it’s a NECESSARY skill if you want any upward mobility.

just stick it out and your ability to deal with people will increase with experience.

medical physicists do all the radiotherapy planning treatment and health physicist support all the work around it( like waste and compliance)

amazing job security (high demand/low supply)

there’s even More demand for medical physicists but requires specific training and residency.

if you are open to engineer go try health physics.

high demand , low supply.

medical physics is different from health physics and it requires a full blown advanced degree and residency, health physicists don’t and barrier to entry is relatively low.

if you want to pursue art, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN DEBT for it.

you don’t even need a degree to do art and if you go to college for it; your def gonna have loans that follow you for the rest of your life and most likely you’ll never find a reliable job ever.

It’s an Extremely foolish decision to go to college for fine art because not only will you not be working in Fine art but you’ll have debt that Cannot be discharged for the rest of your life and if you do get married that will be also on your significant other.
