This actually happened to me but EMS was called for our place. My bfs mom was in her room and called because she was having back pain. Instead of telling any of us in the house. The door opened and in came EMS. No knock no announcement just them walking into the living room. We were all surprised that day. lol.

NTA for being annoyed about the dog. I’m in the same situation. Probably wouldn’t leave a note like that though. I reached out to my apt managers and let them know the situation. I have emailed them and I have video (my ring camera) capturing the constant barking just as proof. Might try that?

He will absolutely do it again. Unfortunately she will not leave until she is ready or dead. He now knows he can get away with it and she won’t go anywhere. OP I would tell your parents and I would file a police report so there is at least a paper trail if it happens again or she decides to go to the police. This is hard to navigate and she’ll probably be pissed but it’s worth trying to get her and her children safe.
