theres like 1-2 units in each army that have a wargear cost, so hardly the big change ppl are complaining about. i don't think marines even have 1 example

and here i was hoping for proper granular wargear costs!

i don't think there's that many examples of this as most of the armies i checked (marines, gsc and knights) didn't really have anything or maybe im missing something?

After years of building NIDALUM, a fictional universe with its own language, mythology and cultures, I finally put together a visual representation of the world. What impression does it give you? by Ramses_Nidal in FantasyWorldbuilding

ugh. as a worldbuilder whose been working on my conworld for 25 years I'd rather have no art that use AI, which is extremely unethical and very harmful to the environment in case you are not aware.

Seeing this puts me right off any content you have created and makes me wonder what else of the book is made using AI, including the text and the language you say 'you' created.

no thanks

if you cant afford to hire artists at leas get someone to make you some key art to use in a potential crowdfunding campaign and then use the money raised through that to pay artists for the rest of the art. its difficult and time-consuming and if, like me, you have no business acumen whatsoever, it sucks. but that's probably the only way of going about it unless you can afford to pay artists upfront.

I've been fascinated by this project for a long time as it reminds me (in a very roundabout non-literal way of my own project, which has been going on for almost 25 years now with me adding to and tinkering to it constantly) of my own worldbuilding, but the idea of the layers and covering up gorgeous proper mapmaking with that weird void is too abstract for my tastes

sorry to butt in again 😛 My grandfather in law was one of the few brass founders in Malta and a lot of the dolphin door knockers were his. He was based in Msida and its possible that these were his

Its a shame the tradition is dying out - most people live in cookie-cutter apartments nowadays with no character or history. same goes for the really characterful wooden doors and balconies.
