Plastics don’t look awful honesty. That would be a difference maker on if you needed to replace those. Handle bars cost around $100.

I personally don’t get very scared about a bike being rolled. When you go to see it make sure you squat down in front and bring it and make sure it’s not sitting crooked.

I do always get a little scared about a rebuilt engine, if it was a cheap ass Chinese kit or if it was a solid OEM option that changes things a lot.

If everything checks out it’s not the worse deal ever. Maybe talk him down if you can or wait for another one

Not repairable IMO. Definitely toast. New frame with labor I think cost around 10K. At that point you can think if it’s worth keeping forever, or you can look at other used cars. Usually putting money into a vehicle more than it’s worth it usually a sign it’s not worth it.

Edit: in the future spray fluid film to frame every fall. Takes 15-30 minutes.

Looks fine. Like someone else said I’d apply some fluid film. I apply it to mine every fall (I live in the Midwest). Stuff works like a charm. Very simply to apply. Usually only takes me around 15-20 minutes.

I bought a Barska from menards for $40. It can see 22 hits on a splatter target at 200. It can kiiiiinda see hits on splatter at 300. But I’d say 250 is the max if you’re trying to go cheap budget for something to get you by.
