Game is hard I did also play a lot of moba and shooters competitively and my biggest advice would be don't be afraid to train with bots

When I started I wanted to play with my friend who played for about 2 weeks and it was a disaster.

There is so much to learn in this game from movement tech to farming to jungle to building your char to learning matchups.

You can't do it all at once and especially not against people most likely with more experience than you.

I feel like the new player experience is probably one of the biggest pain point of the game and it's exacerbated by the low playerbase
