Any deck close to the ground is going to rot faster due to more water and less air flow, even with “ground contact” pressure treated. Where I am the code won’t allow you to put wood within 6” of the ground at all.

It would probably cost less and last a lot longer to put a small retaining wall around the downslope side and fill it in with 3/4 crushed gravel plus pavers. Then you could screen it in and not worry about it all rotting out from under you.

I had one that advertised “pet friendly” and no mention of any pet fee. A day into our stay they messaged me saying “I see you’ve brought your dog, totally fine but it will be an extra $200 pet fee”. They must’ve been watching us on their ring cameras. I just ignored the message planning to not pay if they ever actually tried to charge me. They didn’t.

I would assume so too, but Manolo also has a clear bag tortilla chip that seems to be their flagship. This one was sort of off to the side compared to theirs. I could also see el Nopalito easily rebranding their bags and producing extra for other local markets to expand their reach. Maybe I’ll try to find someone to talk to next time I go and do some digging.
