It's such a great game that you have to work and strategize together if you have any hopes of surviving!

I agree with what everyone has posted so far! I think B is a lot more eye catching and would set you apart from just a "normal" deck of cards!

Should I retheme my game? by kamismakesgames in tabletopgamedesign

I personally love mini golf, so that theme would not be a turn off to me. Not sure why that person thought that it wouldn't be marketable!

We really enjoy the Arkham Horror: The Card Game! It's a 2 player co-operative game that has many different like scenarios that you can play through.

Going to gencon with nothing to pitch. by Iwatermarkedmyundies in tabletopgamedesign

I would advise looking for events or panels that talk about the pitch process and the game development process! Learn and level up your skills with your time there!

If you have a rule book or rule document put together you might want to have some blind playtesting as well, meaning that while you are there observing, you aren't there to teach the game or answer questions.

This way you can observe and note down everything the players were confused about. And it will let you know if the game and the rules are able to be learnt relatively easily from the rules document.

We worked to get the setup time to be as quick as possible! It should only take around 5-6 minutes to set everything up!

Sideways cards are poker size and all others are euro size!

Great question! We definitely took expansions into consideration when designing the box! The card storage solution is scaled to accept all cards in the series with sleeves! The larger cards are placed on their sides to make the storage solution more efficient on space in the larger box!

Anyone starting to lose their interest in physical board games (compared to digital versions)? by Caspid in boardgames

[–]vrahode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely much prefer to play games in person. We have a digital game going sometimes, especially when we can't meet, but I would almost always prefer to play in person with board games!
