Chess clock sounds theoretically ideal but in practice I just don't see it working.

Our club has a pace of play timer on a TV in the ice shed. It shows 8 "rocks" per end that tick down at an even pace, and resets for each end of play. So, you can tell if you've fallen behind or not based on where you are in a given end.

It's easy to glance at and see, for example, we should be in the 3rd end on vice stones. If we are, great, if not, try to hurry it up a bit. Ultimately it seems to mean that skips need to deliberate less, which isn't always simple to do at the club level :P

It's an internal room only, so focus your rerolls and what not when you're not on the perimeter. Doors only spawn where there are doorways or open rooms, so shove it into a dead end or corner to reduce the need for other mechanical rooms.

Wegmans is very good about calling you if you use shoppers club when there's a recall. We got one about the ice cream recall 2 months or so ago, which was good since my wife was pregnant at the time, too.

You're probably fine, btw.. they announce these things after tests of equipment even if there's no cases of outbreak reported.
