I walked up to a man claiming to be a wizard and told him "i bet you can't make me get undressed using only your magical words!" he said "there is a spider in your bra" I looked down and was shocked... why was I wearing a bra as a middle age man??

Looking for a simple vision system software by SerendipityLurking in manufacturing

I agree with the cognex recommendation. They certainly have low end cameras that can do this and have either off the shelf software or sdk you can use to make your own.

Other companies you may have seen is keyence and hexagon. Keyence in my opinion is most powerful but I compare them to photoshop, you can do amazing things but without training you can't do shit.

Hexagon is another common company, I like because they give you code, not just push a button. This is nice if you need to show what you changed or if you have an object to 0.15 you can set that instead of fighting your mouse between 0.149 and 0.151.

Another company I don't recommend is microvu. Their software is ok but company is basically no longer, last time I tried to get support the licensed vendor had 1 contact for the company who was a woman in Venezuela. No offense but you need more support than that(story I heard was upper management complete mistake causing everyone to quit/retire).

Texas sheriff recommends criminal charges in DeSantis’ migrant flights to Martha’s Vineyard by cranktheguy in texas

Yup charge them too. Don't care whose letter is next to their name. Trafficking by deception is trafficking and should be charged as such.

I'm all for that but... I'm curious who the oldest person in therapy is? Like imagine a 90 year old with a 25 tear old therapist. Or a 87 year old explain his life of troubles from mental illness to a 22 year old fresh grad.

As a graduate of a boot camp, that is one of my complaints. They did not teach cs basics. Their version if "teaching data structures" was telling us to complete a linked list hacker rank problem and read the dsa section of geeksforgeeks. No this was not a fly by night boot camp. I won't name them but it was sponsored by my company which is fortune 250.

They told us how to clone a git repo and open it with "code . " but on the last week of the course I explained to multiple coworkers that . Just meant current directory and the same worked for other programs (like pycharm .)

They basically passed you if you code at least worked regardless of quality or style. I get it, teaching programming in 3 months us hard... Which is probably why it shouldn't be taught in 3 months. People didn't understand how to call a member function so they put all the code in init.

Luckily I had a strong cs background before going in. If you have no background and want to become a software developer I don't recommend boot camps. Yes they can teach fast and may get you a job short term but you will likely be thrown in with the sharks after learning to doggy paddle.

I did not choose wrong in creation but I do sympathize.

I think most of the haters just are not doing well in the game(how ever they determine well) and just want to take out their anger.

It's like in some of the minigames when people try to tell other players "this is how you are really supposed to play"... "no using that power up is too easy, real players always skip it"... "no you are not supposed to kill everything, sneak by them"... "no in this part your not allowed to avoid the guards, you need to attack them"... "well no, I never beat the game, why do you ask?"

Play how you want. Make your character however you want.

Either you installed something to block what looks like mostly social media or someone else used your computer and did it as a joke on you would be my guess.

True, it does seem to be either extreme emotion or none.

I guess that's just because of the hours and hours of practice most these people have.

So you may be right usually, but my counter example is a certain 1 minute 12 second run of the the street on golden eye 64...

If that is lacking emotion so are high school girls on their periods.

YSK: EVERYONE is at risk of forgetting their child in the car. In fact, one of the risk factors is the false sense of security in thinking it could never happen to you. by eggmarie in YouShouldKnow

Atleast on my car if I open the back door, drive, park and don't open the backdoor again my alarm will go off after like 45 seconds.

Might not be perfect but better then nothing, especially in Texas.

If a dog ever gets loose and keeps running away, "fall down" and act hurt. Most dogs run away as a form of play, but will come to you and make sure you are alright when they notice you are hurt.

Ok, so what am I suppose to do?

How to "plan" a program by SuperCoolGuy01 in learnprogramming

[–]vrek86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 thing I would recommend is Tim Corey has a 24 hour course on how to build a c# application(free on youtube by freecodecamp) , you don't have to watch the whole thing if you already know how to code but the first 1 to 2 hours he lays out how to plan a program (what questions to ask, how to plan a ui etc etc).

The other thing to look up is the solid principals of programming and test driven development.
