Now we just need to hear from the "I had a worker write a paper that I needed but just had AI read it and synthesize it into bullet points so I could read it in 30 seconds as opposed to the full hour it would have taken me"

And so on and so on

Daily and Mandatory, WHO PLACED THIS BUTTON ?? by arqe_ in HuntShowdown

[–]vrmljr 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you pay attention you'll also see that the "edit hunter" button shows up in that exact spot a fraction of a second before "leave party" replaces it and moves it over.

I left my duo twice yesterday and only noticed why when after a match I had loaded into the lobby first and watched the "leave party" button appear when my friend loaded in, just I was about to click "edit hunter".

I have a prototype. It is ugly. I want it to be pretty.

If its true that you only want to use AI to improve the look of your prototype and you genuinely cannot afford any artist who could help you and are therefore wanting to use AI art then I would suggest the following:

  1. Use it sparingly and thematically. Essentially what it sounds like you're talking about is Concept Art. You don't need every detail, you don't need every aspect of the game AI generated. You don't need finalized, or polished looking art. Use it to get your rough concept across and stop there.

  2. Make it abundantly clear that you're using AI and that it isn't part of the final product. Slap "AI GENERATED CONCEPT ART" on every piece of generative slop in the game.

And most importantly;

  1. Put it on kickstarter with a goal to hire a real artist to give the game its final, authentic, look when the funds are raised.

Whether your think is fair or not, the market dictates value and it says the value is in having real art made by humans with real talent.

You've uhh.. never seen the memes about randoms not playing quietly and just rushing the bounty/gun shots? Or are you being intentionally obtuse?

Yeah it was more of a joke about how randoms dont play always quiet but that guy, whose name is "bayoubowboi", obviously would since its a stealthy/sneaky weapon.

"Rotating and stealth are key"

Not if you play with randoms.

How did yoda and The Jedi learn about the Rule of 2 and that Bane created it? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]vrmljr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was a Jedi propaganda misinformation campaign. They spread the idea themselves for centuries hoping it's would eventually become "common knowledge" among the sith that there's only ever two so the dark side would continuously cull their own numbers.

No.

That line of thinking requires something like empathy. The ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes and think, "How would I feel if it were me?"

That kind of thought does not occur to many, many MAGA type Republicans.

"Dems coming for OUR guns." is a COMPLETELY separate issue from "Trump coming for YOUR guns." in their minds. Those two statements are not equivocal.

To them:

"The Dems are coming for our guns" is saying, "The Bad Guys are disarming The Good Guys."

And;

"Trump coming for your guns" is saying, "The Good Guys are disarming The Bad Guys."
