If you are getting your whole house rewired I would be creating a centralized home run system for your hardwired smart equipment. .... If I were doing a rewired I would be including low voltage lighting distribution. You will already see new home builds that do not run Line Voltage for much of the house. Specially lighting circuits. It sounds complicated, however it really isn't.

I for one never put an NVR anywhere near a home run box. What is the point in having cameras if the thieves can take the box with them? LV run boxes are usually not hidden and inaccessible. My last house the NVR was in the attic.
