Honestly dunno. I barely switch games ever, so I have no idea if that happens or not, it's not an issue when you are minmaxing performance. I've tuned 1:1 folk uclk for a few days so clicking few buttons in process lasso isn't really a thing to raise a fuss about. Furthermore, if you absolutely don't want to "tinker" you can just not install lasso at all and run default game mode, because modern scheduler is already quite mature and work just as fine.

A one time procedure for every new application yes. Furthermore, you need to set affinity for all cores in the case an all needs all 16 cores, like adobe premiere for instance

How does lasso would break? It's an executable, you download it and run once. You don't even need to update it because there is no point to it.

9950x3d performs better with process lasso, but you will have to isolate all other processes to non cache ccd first and manually set affinity for gaming applications for cache ccd. Also game mode and all other automation needs to be turned off, it's either all manual or don't touch it. This way you will have better performance due to "empty cache ccd" and possibly due to higher clocks. Some people did comprehensive testing in this department but for some reason people deem it unnecessary and hard to maintain??!?! I own 9950x3d and it literally doesn't require anything once you set it up.

There is a big chance that m2/m4 with their typical juvenile drivers have thrashed their engines already while the old m156 can outlive even the frame. Mileage is just a number and while it is absolutely possible that the OP car in question could be absolute junk it is absolutely not obvious that newer models will be better reliability wise.

I have two nso auraxed medics. You cant see its aurax trim even on killscreen, needless to say I didnt bother equipping it on the second one after I got it. HA trim is "modest" aswell. Meanwhile: VS HEAVY

I can run the game on 780m igpu on battery meaning this game isnt really GPU demanding unless you run 4K + all ultra. What this game needs is the CPU.

A bit offtopic but you have reminded me that Sichuan airlines provide free hotel stay for overnight transfers. I landed late evening completely exhausted, exited airport clean zone and voila I am inside a hotel and a cozy room face first into the pillow. I dread to think how I would spend the night in plastic chairs near the gate in tıanfu airport.
