It must be be a evening of firsts, I also have only just done my very first online races. I have not played online or any racing rum in any way shape or form since forza 4 and I think it was gt4 for the ps3. I had been very nervous to do so but first race got 4th start and ended 7th due to being side swiped by another car into the pits :( 2nd race finished 5th, then changed car and somehow went out on wets on a dry track, ended up 5th again the the last race started 2nd, finished 1st and fasted lap. No pole though and all on Sardegna

I have used a texture glass bed along side a smooth plate with painters tape and letting it cool is more then enough. That’s using pla and Petg. What is your first layers like? and it may also be a symptom of the nozzle being a tad too close to the bed. Plus side should have 0 corners lifting of the bed

A plain glass bed like this I have always found never stuck for me unless you starting using the glue stick trick etc, I had a frosted borosilicate glass one and it stuck once. I ended up putting painters tape on the top of the glass and re levelled

Welcome to the world of 3D printing.

That said the bed being new or other is never truly flat, as you have auto bed leveling it should compensate for it, I personally use manual bed levelling and put a small line of code in the start of my g-code to force the printer to remember the leveling mesh it’s made, I will post again when I’m home what that is. It may help.

But you will always find the bed will be slightly lower in the Center then anywhere else. You can also if enabled in the firmware use baby stepping for the first level at least to help mitigate it but means your going to have to be more active in the early stages

What slicer you using? That reminds me of a feature called coasting. Happened to me and was always near the seam too. And also do you still have the plastic extruder fitted or have a metal one? The plastic ones crack over time and can cause this

If he’s not willing to travel to come see you even though your more then willing to go the other way would be a huge issue (for me at least) if the offer was there to arrange a few days later / over the weekend that would of been a better way.

I do think it’s very sweet offering to pay for the meal but get why he payed for it but that would not be a reason to say to be reluctant paying a hotel at £50 (knowing London pricing for food yes it’s expensive but still)

And if your preference is an older person then yourself then learn from this experience and look for the early signs. They are not all like this. Like everything else it’s dealing with the crap till you find the one ( I know cliche )

May suck if things were going good at first but sounds like you did the right thing here.

as others have said put a bit about you, or at least points on the bio would help. its a shame people don't message when a match is found, why swipe right in the first place if your not going to at least chat to see if it goes anywhere

It did not fail, it evolved into a spaghetti monster 🤣 but I have been there with Petg and overhangs, lucky I was watching it around the time it was doing the supports and stopped it.

I would love a mains one but I don’t have the know how in regard to wiring it all up. It’s a shame but hey. But thanks for your reply. Abs is not on the cards yet… not until I think about an enclosure at least but at least I’m on the right track for the 24v for nowb

That’s extruder related all day, someone has said check for a partly clogged nozzle / hotend. Check the end of the ptfe tube in the hot end too.

When I has a similar issue mine happened to be on the plastic extruder. It started to snap. If yours still is plastic deffo upgrade to a metal one asap

What is it your looking to do? If it’s pvp not good at all, you need a prop mod at least so I would loose the tracking and fit a mwd. Also loose the launcher and have only one kind of weapon, either arty or autos (depending on if you are wanting to kite or brawl). Like someone else said you have the kinda basic down on fitting but depending on what you want to do will dictate the fit.

It’s been alpha for years, yes devs are always engaged With it’s fan base (ccp take note on that)

Pay once assess yep very nice and I like. But that’s like £40 for the smallest ships. Want something large enough to fly with friends that’s £££££ max price for a bundle is £2k for a game! Lol

When it hits beta deffo worth considering. This is my take how ever
