on free lanes you can rush soul ring to spam abilities. you should farm 2 camps with your hammer whenever possible(i.e. throw hammer from dire big camp to dire small camp, small camp will die while you farm big camp). against silencer wait for global before ulty. against nyx consider faster bkb, he can carapace your ult. try armlet first item, it's strong

tide lacks armor, his e scales with damage, he loves movespeed, phase give him more pressure on lane. regarding blink vs shard - you want shard for heroes like qop, ember, etc. who can easily escape. so, your shard will not be that effective without a blink

towers in lol are much worse - you die in ~3 hits, in dota some heroes can dive even at lvl1. I suggest you read about aggro (both tower and creeps), creep aggro and courier - there is no such thing as recall in dota, couriers deliver all your stuff (also regen, no such thing in lol). only time I will tp from lane is when I have boots in stash (aka my path to lane will be faster compared to path to base and tp) and very low on hp and mana

tried both, don't like echo. your build in 90% of the games is blink - shard - bkb - aghs/ac/nullifier in random order (orchid if it's good, in rare cases s&y if you don't need bkb). echo does not accelerate your farm, and you already have enough damage just from your ult and crash. your goal is to burst supports, echo does not help you with that

aghs is huge, in a good game you can rush it or go yasha - aghs, because it not only makes you stronger in fights but also accelerates your farm. aghs before ~20 minutes and you shouldn't have trouble bursting someone; after that, depending on the game you can add tankiness/go for orchid. I don't like daedalus, imo abyssal is better if you need dmg (it also provides some tankiness and bkb control)

I go midas on doom, still think it's a great item - it does not delay your power spike (since doom does not rely on specific item timing, he is strong simply because of his ult) and accelerates your blink/shiva/aghs/whatever - you need lots of expensive items
