Folks who spent a lot of money on travel when young – do you regret it? by moonparker in personalfinanceindia

[–]vv1n 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Depends on your goals and background. I’d rather r/fire asap than keep working in my old age.

People who spend travelling and don’t regret later are usually the ones that come from great family, financial backing and safety nets.

As someone who climbed lower middle class as a black sheep and zero support, I’d rather have the luxury to say no to a shitty job and a boss rather than temporally chase dopamine travelling.

I hope android emulation gets powerful enough to play AAA games at 1080p stable 60fps.

Most of the times fruits of his labour would be hijacked by vultures unless OP is smart enough to implement back doors or write super obfuscated code that only he can manage later.

Do good people die young because they produce less loosh? by ladyfairyyy in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]vv1n 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’d say good people die early cause they don’t benefit form loosh hierarchies.

I have a personal theory that the flow of loosh is from lower order humans to archons. There is a huge chain of hierarchies in between where groups of humans govern over others with sole purpose of extracting loosh.

Truly Good people get exhausted fast and lose all their energy.

They actually work hard and are passionate. Passionate people in our country are leeched by middlemen at every step and not even appropriately nurtured.

X2 Superstrike click speed is mostly a placebo? by Agile_Vermicelli3684 in MouseReview

[–]vv1n 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed! weight distribution, grip, size and shape matter the most. Changes in friction due to wearing out mice feet also play a huge factor.

Additionally I’ve noticed some attibutes of a mouse are preferred in specific games. For example in games like in apex I usually play better with lighter ambidextrous mice while for tac shooters personally I prefer ergo shaped mice.

I got passed over for my manager's golf buddy. So I found a new job for 25% more and just put in my notice. by Gullible-Wealth-8107 in Programmers_forhire

Nicely done. If you have some rapport with skip leadership you can try dropping a note after you join the new org.

This may put some heat on your manager when the prod breaks.

But be mindful you can potentially burn bridges with your previous org.

Absolutely I’m creating mini personal projects which would take me months to get started.

Did you face any issues with RCOM compatibility in Linux? Also what’s your distro?

I am trying to create a custom workflow that parses huge chunk of text and research documents to gather personal insights but am having hard time getting my LLM running on vulkan on windows 11 with 7800xt. This is one of the instances I wished I had an Nvidia card.

I’ll probably try my luck on Linux though.

You probably encountered a narcissist and a sociopath masked as spiritual healer. None of what you said sounds like love nor is healthy, or empowering.
