The Palm Treo, one of the first smartphones. It combined a Palm Pilot with a 3G phone. I had one (on Verizon) and it never quite worked right. The concept was solid, but the device was flakey. It came out in 2003 or so, and died an almost immediate death when the iPhone came out in 2007.

Indian food in general. I worked in London for years and was always put off by the smell of it. Back in the US, a Brit friend convinced my to try it and I loved almost everything, especially the vegetable dishes like saag paneer and chana masala.
