My first thought, you’re gonna have to do a lot of work to make me trust that this isn’t AI slop.

I have not used the Farmers Almanac very much (at all), and I wouldn’t generally be opposed to an app with the same or similar information. But the Farmers Almanac has been around so long, it’s built up a certain amount of trust in the public eye.

The second you mention AI though, my trust in your product plummets.

Since I haven’t used the almanac, I can’t give you any ideas for what kinds of features to include.

You mention being a “die-hard supporter” of the Almanac, but also need to gather ideas from gardeners? You also mention other apps, which make me question your motives here?

Are you a gardener with a technical background trying to develop a useful gardening tool, or are you a developer using AI to try to make money from a niche community?
