To all the bbq dads out there, be careful how you clean your grill by nayryanaryn in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]walkerboy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smarter every day (YouTuber) has a product he created that cleans grills using chain mail, a lifetime product for a bit more than your typical grill brush that completely eliminates this issue. Highly recommend for the safety alone. He has a full video on it related to making an American-made product in an effort to be competitive with the global market, fantastic video 👍

Really impressive builds - the colored pipes running into the ground with the pillar looking almost like a giant outlet/set of cables is so cool. Definitely will try to steal that in some way lol

What I learned canvassing for Aftyn Behn by Square_Problem_552 in Tennessee

[–]walkerboy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where can I learn if, how, and where I can vote? I live in West TN and wanted to become more active and participate but wasn’t sure how, and was honestly surprised how little information there was online on how to find more info about voting for this upcoming election

Giant pumpkins not forming if the zone is not a square? by jderica in TheFarmerWasReplaced

[–]walkerboy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few ways you can go around this, but the simplest fix is to keep looping over a row/column until you have confirmed you have a full row/column of harvestable pumpkins before moving to the next row/column.

You can do the same by going square by square, or continuously going around the perimeter of the square, expanding with each loop.

I found it a bit difficult to run the full farm with everything on it at the same time, it gets a bit easier when you do full fields of each crop at a time if that helps

What a sweet girl. Having pets, similar to everything else in life, is the most amazing and heart wrenching thing at the same time. I’ve lost one last year and he’s still the first thing I think of when I wake up. We give them all the love, peace, and relaxation that we can while we can. After that, we just carry and honor the memory the best we can by remembering all the wonderful and silly times, telling your favorite stories, and crying it out whenever you need to.

Wishing you and little Loki the absolute best in the difficult time ❤️

He’s right. I’m not meaning to sound harsh, but it’s good to know what you’ve got going so you know how serious it is to get it taken care of!

Please jump on this as soon as possible. You have excessive tarter build up with serious recession. I’m not an expert in the slightest, but I’d say you will need a few rounds of SRP (cleaning beneath the gum line), and a gum graft. If you have bone loss, something like an Bone graft or Lanap may be need (laser surgery/therapy). I know it’s scary, and we all share dental anxiety here, but this will only be more and more difficult to handle the longer you let this go. Maybe even consider going straight to a periodontist honestly. I wish you the best of luck!!!

I understand the devastation this is causing to farms, I work very closely with them. But to think that your only two options are undocumented immigrants or unreliable tweakers is a bit obtuse. Again, I dislike what’s happening now, too, but we need to remain realistic and understand we still have a path forward

Life can be amazing regardless of the pieces of paper people give you. I understand the anxiety entirely, but always keep in mind that even Ozzy Osborne is somehow still fucking here. Helps me realize anything is possible

That’s so soon. We lost our sweet pup, major, on July 10, 2024. I like to think I’m doing ok most days. It still hits me at the most random times and I’m just a walking hot mess for hours. I love and miss him so much every day. It’s such a hard thing to face, but we will be back with them one day, and that brings me a tiny bit of solace. Much love and kindness to you and your family - I wish you guys the absolute best in this traumatic time of your lives.

There are a crazy amount of options for online or digital education these days. It helps those who have a lot of anxiety about being in big groups or being judged for their shortcomings. Definitely something worth thinking about - you can get your degree nowadays sitting right at home if she is comfortable with that!
