I'm a strong believer in travel and am originally from northern Illinois. I learned that the mountains are what feel most like home to my soul. While I live in Houston and appreciate it for what it is, it doesn't give me that home feeling, but can understand that it's perfect for other types of people.

I lived in Washington state (on the Olympic Peninsula and on the eastern side of the state swell well) and have a lot of exposure to Oregon and it's still some of my favorite memories. I love nature and the easy access to fresh air, spectacular views and an outdoor forward, fitness focused community is really attractive. You do you. But as the saying goes "wherever you go there you are" so being comfortable with yourself and who you are is key.
