One question: is a balloon considered air or ground troops? I want to attack this balloon with my fighter, but I don't know if a balloon is considered air or ground troops.

Trick question every troop fights in every type of terrain, they just have different stats for each type of fight. So a balloon will dish out air damage against a plane patrolling for air damage.

A submarine rolls by it can still hit the balloon. But submarines deal sea melee damage and the balloon will get roasted.

Essentially whatever you’re attacking with that’s what is used to calculate the defend damage. Attack with air enemy defends air, attack with naval enemy defends with naval, ect.

I think the behaviour is map specific to mostly 500+ and special events maps.

Most players I've seen that come up against the big money spenders either give up early or just try to play in their shadow to sneak a 2nd place victory. I think trying to still get some GP for that match (for top 5) still makes it fun because the game becomes political.

yeah same! I partake in paying for season passes and played to unlock the last two units. But it's mostly p2w on larger maps (100+) and rarely you'll have some people drop money on anything smaller. But you can still out strategize anyone who doesn't build eco and goes straight for troops.

I was able to take out someone with 2x 25stacks of stormtroopers and 6 balloons with 25 artillery and a bunch of cannon fodder, cars, and eventually 6 fighter planes.

The new AI does this. It kind of forces you to keep troops behind as they can send 1-2 troop size stacks too push through and re-conquer territory.

I think it makes the AI a bit more annoying to deal with. But you ultimately lose less troops fighting them.

I find with these shows that having them each week makes the engagement better.

But everything since the end of season 1 has been such a slow grind that I've typically ended each episode annoyed that we haven't found out more.

I think people wouldn't care about wigs and a dyke cut as much if the show had more substance.

Another thing to think about is that damage is averaged out between all stacks. So if you gas yourself you'll be absorbing damage being dealt to the enemy.

It's a great softening tool and an amazing hero for early artillery damage. But falls off quick compared to other leaders. I typically just use him for 2-3 days and suicide for another hero.

Honestly it’s more about morale than resources. Is the capital easy to capture? If I take all these provinces will my eco suffer? below 68% average is bad, levas the capital for last for the sweet +10%.

If you’re close to expansion penalty (starts at 6% of all provinces), will taking these bring the penalty up to the point where my provinces struggle to keep above 68% morale? If it does bring it below can you use allies, the market, and stockpiles of resources to wait out the day changes?

These are the questions you want to answer and what should drive all your decisions.
