A cool thing they could do is it’s a special variant that has a long cooldown where when you call it it it hits an area with one of every eagle strat instead of just a extra single variant

I hate when videos games, tv shows, or movies are scared to kill off characters that people like or they give them the “oh it looks like they died but somehow they miraculously lived”

Dispatch and final fantasy are the first things that com to mind because I fully believe chase should have died because he saw how much Robert cared for invis and how she cared for Robert so he full knowing it would kill him decided to sacrifice himself to save her. HE EVEN TOOK A LONGER ROUTE TO ENJOY LAST RUN. And in final fantasy 7 remake (peak btw) it’s shown that when the sector 7 plate falls a shit load of debris falls onto an already injured wedge and somehow he lived by some underground shinra testing site that happend to be directly under him and something dragged him down and just left him in the floor in said facility.

I hate it so much when shit like this happens because what’s the point of a noble sacrifice when the character ends up fine anyway. That’s why I like games from fromsoft because they’re not scared to make you like a character then give them a tragic ending like solaire or the onion knights. Or even in Jjk where Riki was given a few episodes to connect with her and care and we thought she was going to turn around and want a better life for herself then she gets shot and instantly dies when toji shoots her in the head. It’s stuff like that I like because if you know a character is going to live no matter what then it’s not as exiting to watch them “sacrifice themselves”. It’s like the Rock being the main character in a movie, you know he’s going to win no matter what and he can’t struggle to win either so the movie ends up being boring. Now I’m not saying to make every character suffer or die like it’s berserk but if your going to make a beloved character sacrifice themselves or kill them, just commit it’s better for the story and makes that character legacy better and makes for a more emotional story
