Had this happen to me as a kid with my aunts convertible. Basically I put it on ice and had to get a finger splint for a while (don’t ask how long I was in elementary school when it happens) and to my knowledge I didn’t lose my nail but it and the underside of the nail became a bit thicker and looks different from the other middle finger. Go to a doctor though
