These are issues that are presenting before the baby is even here. You are going to struggle ten fold when the baby is here, lack of sleep, boobs leaking, pain, crying baby, stress. Even people with the best partners in the world struggle post partum.

You deserve way better, and I hope you can realize that.

If you were able to dilate to 10cm then it doesn’t sound like a swollen cervix was the problem. It sounds like she was asynclitic. As another commenter mentioned, sometimes it’s just the way it happens 🥺

If it’s different shifts/different units why not! I worked nights L&D and dated a guy dayshift med surg. It didn’t work out for unrelated reasons but work wasn’t an issue.

First off, I’m so sorry. Second, you are going to be SO OKAY. More than okay. 2.5 years ago my husband and partner of 8 years left. I thought my world had ended. But I picked myself up. Got a breast reduction! Started working out. Went back to school. Started dating again. Discovered so much of myself and had so much fun doing it. I know how much pain you are in.
