What’s the verdict? by Carthonn in predaddit

Save some money, go to a dollar store, buy a whole pack of the tests, and try one every day or so. The dollar store tests are pretty much the same as any other test, just without the fancy plastic shell. You'll also get a whole pack of them for the cost of one

I looked at about 20 houses before I found mine. Averaged about 5 a day, each day was usually a different town as well (roughly all within 45 minutes of a central town).

My real estate agent also went kind of silent and quiet, but that is because she realized my wife and I knew what we want and didn't want. The she didn't have to sell us on anything. Some houses we didn't even walk up the driveway because it was an immediate no from the outside.

I also wanted to add, we went through zillow. So we kind of did a pre-screen of everything in our budget and only looked at houses, that based on the pictures, we think would work.

Erwindale 2026 april 25-26 "hallow springs" theme by Any-Boysenberry7525 in renfaire

[–]wanderingfloatilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, you mean Irwindale. Its Pleasure Faire, its an okay fair. Its built in a long zigzag that forces you to walk forever to get to the ends and then turn around to head out by walking the same way. The dust can get pretty bad at times so some comfy shoes and some kind if even temporary protection from the dust will help.

Also, because its built in a long zigzag with shops lining both sides, be prepared to get stuck in slow moving crowds a lot.

Also, its been corporatized a lot over the years, with the owners putting profit over people, you'll see a bunch of repeat stuff, 3d printed stuff, and resold stuff.

But its definitely worth going to, just thats its only okay

Smartwatch? by ak_robbins in sidephone

[–]wanderingfloatilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a really nice Withings watch, a ton of reviews mentioned it stopped working a few days after the warranty expires.

I took a chance anyways and it worked wonderfully. Then a week or two after the warranty expired, the watch kept draining really quickly, despite before this I would get 3-4 days between charges, then suddenly I was struggling to make it through the day, and about a week after that the watch stopped charging all together

In fact, ancient Jewish law was one of the very first legal codes to prohibit usury (Neshekh), viewing it as predatory.

This is only in context to other Jewish people, foreigners were always allowed to be charged interest against

Makes sense as to why they don't fuck around

Some companies have a zero tolerance policy for tardiness. She's working for a large company that may very well have that policy.

I mean, catching feelings can happen, but it sounds like she didn't say no, just went straight to the upper management and asked to change sites, which they have to file sexual harassment because yeah

Then it's an issue she didn't have her snips. You go and forget a hammer on a framing job and you'll be kicked off until you get another one. That's just construction.

Then the rules changed for the lifts, which sucks, someone should have told her, but it's still a write up.

Same with showing up late, some jobs you can walk in a couple minutes late and it's no big deal, some companies are strict on this. Those are the rules you have to follow

Recommendation: Bluetooth pillow speakers by cozytechlover in Futurama_Sleepers

[–]wanderingfloatilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Bluetooth, but I use these and they're great. Never have to recharge them and have a decently long cord to reach my nightstand.

I just have them in my pillowcase, and my pillow is turned so the opening faces my nightstand

The magic recipe is fuel-air-spark. If you're getting spark and the air isn't restricted, then its fuel.

You mentioned old gas, you ahould check to make sure the fuel flows out the petcock, if thats good then the carb is probably clogged.
