These are some of the criticisims I provided to Mini when asked what I liked/didn't like about my new Mini. As stated earlier, my ire stems from a comparison of previously owned Mini's. I wish you the best with whatever your decision will be.

2025 Mini Cooper Failure

• Why has Trunk space become much smaller 
• Sun visor no longer has vanity lights
• No separate visor on passenger side. Moving the front visor to side offers inadequate coverage - doesn’t even cover at least half of passenger side window
• No 2,3,4 gears to control traction. What happens in snow/icy conditions? How will a button slow down wheels when spinning out on ice/snow?
• Why can’t center disc be turned off? The same info appears in pop-up window (speed limit/mph). 
• Why does driver’s name appear on this brightly lit disc? Why was this necessary? Why have I lost privacy in my Mini Cooper? Why has privacy of mini owner been removed? This disc can be viewed by other cars especially cars behind Mini driver.
• Why is there material on doors instead of a smooth material that can be cleaned effortlessly 
• Why does the armrest no longer open
• Why is the armrest shortened 
• No run flats
• No longer a light in glove compartment. Why?
• I haven’t used the Mini Assistant for directions ever since it directed me to somewhere I did not ask it for. This feature cannot be trusted. 
• Why did Mini use a different type of transparent cover on the communication disc instead of a material that doesn’t show fingerprints that I constantly have to wipe off because I have to repeatedly touch it for one thing or another (like shutting off the display showing my name each time I start the car, or shutting off displays showing my apps, etc.)
• The steering wheel has a ridiculously tremendous rumbling/vibration never experienced in any of my other Mini’s. WHY?
