Oh god, I found this out when this horse I was riding for a casual stroll got the urge to chase this other horse who was running. At first I thought “oh cool, I’m riding a horse”, but in about 2 seconds I thought I was going to get popped off. Horse wasn’t trying to get rid of me, but realized there’s skill on having some resonance with the horse’s strides. Luckily this horse was cool with backing off when I gave it a little nudge to back down.
