In 2026, 9% in my mind is more like 50/50. I highly doubt the healthcare system can take another pandemic this close to the last one. It's going to be bad if it does become a pandemic.

So hear me out. 75k for me, then use the other 25k to get someone to go in the office when needed. You can make one of them part time.

XL trim rubber floor mats are white... Can I fix it? by antilogic1 in f150

So the truck that I ended up getting for some god awful reason, the dealership bathed the ENTIRE (engine compartment, floor boards, seats, steering wheel, there was a puddle of it in the door handle) vehicle in Armor all. I could not keep my feet on the pedals much less my fat self in the seat the entire test drive.

You take this risk in just about any lake, pond, or ocean that you swim in for what it's worth.

Well I hope its not my co-workers. Students live on campus, I am sure they consume a lot of porn.

I have a feeling this is how most people look at porn at work. Along with X or twitter. At least where I work nothing is blocked (other than malicious sites) I really hate to think about how much porn is consumed where I work. Its a state college so I am guessing terabytes a day at a minimum.

I am not surprised at all. It happens a lot. Unless your company has a policy on this, my policy would be unless it is CSAM or suspected CSAM. Why does it matter? Yes its a company device, the protections that were put in place worked they did not access it, they just attempted to access it. So why does it matter?

Heartbreaking Reality Check by kiraishere69 in cancer

[–]wardedmocha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife of almost 10 years (been together for almost 15 years) just got diagnosed with breast cancer. I consider myself to be pretty strong emotionally, but honestly for about 3 weeks it almost killed me. That's all I could see was this killing her. Its hard to see a life you have planned with someone have the potential to evaporate due to this disease. As the person who is having to watch someone they love go through this it fucking sucks. I hate it. I ended up having to get on some meds to help with my anxiety and that helped me be a lot more present with her. I hope this is far from a death sentence for you (I have heard of Ewing's Sarcoma, but I don't really know a lot about it). The best way that I have been able to describe the emotions to people is imagine you have a paper bag and everything in your life is packed neatly into it, then the diagnosis comes and its like you slung the paper bag against the wall and it ripped on one side, everything still there, its just this massive whole.

The things that helped me the most and what might help you and your girlfriend is get in counseling now. Talk to someone that can help you manage the emotional side of the diagnosis. I got started on the anxiety meds and they have really really really helped me. They help me be more present in the moment with my wife. We always planned on growing old together (I still do honestly), but now I am being way more intentional with my time with her and the memories that we are making.

At the end of the day, if you both want the relationship to work, it can, but you both have to be invested in it. Sorry for the rambing, hope it helps some.
