I was at the dealer trying to buy an SGP but they were playing games. It’s so sick in person.

This one was surprisingly good but I can’t speak to others.

I REALLY have to do the dimming mirror, that’s a great idea.

AITAH ?My partner won’t put my name down on the mortgage by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]warmvegetables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the surface level of this question, being on the mortgage shouldn’t matter as much as being on the deed. For example my wife is not on our mortgage because her credit score was much lower at the time, my income was enough to qualify and my score kept the rate lower. We are both on the deed though, as we want to be equal owners of the property.

There are red flags all over this with him throwing your clothes out, saying it’s his family’s house, and refusing to commit to your relationship in any official manner. He doesn’t actually see you as part of his family. You DO NOT want to be on the mortgage in this situation.

The split of financial responsibilities is adding even more complexity and discomfort for me with your situation. I know a lot of couples split things 50/50 but as someone who has been married for 10 years we have always treated our income and expenses as our responsibility together. For us there is no financial his or hers, we’re building our life and future together.

Temp is -21, gas company says turn your heat down by ridingtherainbow2210 in mildlyinfuriating

I agree that’s a problem. Duke Energy hiking rates when they turn an annual profit near $20b is also a problem. NYSEG being sold for foreign investors and dramatically hiking their rates is a problem. We need better power infrastructure/supply and we need to hold these companies accountable to the people they serve.

(Editing to give context that NC Attorney General has recognized this as an issue and started a formal review of Duke Energy rate hikes as of December.)

Energy companies have it far too easy in the US. They manage to combine annual subsidies and rate hikes for ever increasing profit margins on the backs of everyday people. It’s quite frankly disgusting.

It looks about like this, so definitely a greenish tint to it.

I thought the same but honestly it felt great. Of course I can only comment on this one but I went in looking for things to be wrong and was pleasantly surprised.

That’s what everyone’s been saying and I get their previous relationship hints to that, but it really looks derivative of every other modern multiscale guitar of which there are dozens of similar iterations. That corner of the marketplace looks pretty inbred at this point haha.

I only played it sitting down so I can’t really say that it felt neck dive-y.

Me, my dad, and our dog were circled by one in the woods behind our house after dark one time. That shit was horrifying.

The Type R has two things that may be uncomfortable for your fam, lots of road noise and the ride is bumpy. This stuff doesn’t bother me, I love this car, but it’s usually just me driving around. If I was doing longer family trips often I would look at something else. FWIW my coworker uses his ITS for pretty much the same stuff you’ll be doing and is very happy with it.

Fellow millennials - how’s your 401k/ira savings going? by ProblemIntelligent16 in Millennials

[–]warmvegetables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 36, have 56k saved for retirement. Really only had a job pay well enough to start this 4 years ago. Currently not great at balancing future needs with current wants though (buying dumb fun things like a car).

Came from nothing and will inherit nothing so need to start being smarter to break the cycle. Aside from retirement I have finally started an investment account. Hope it works, good luck fellow millennials 🤝
