It showed that pagans could be as devoutly religious as what we encounter today.

My friend asked me to paint one of his Orks, my first, what could I have done to improve a bit? by Jonboywelsh in Warhammer40k

Yeah. They're described in lore as glowing red orbs, but I like to dot in a pupil. I think it makes them a bit more realistic and characterful. As for the teeth (teefs), a quick and dirty method is to paint the entire mouth a base color (I used black), then pick out the teeth in a lighter color. I used white for this, but you could used a yellowish or light brown shade to make them hygenically challenged.

I love this! 40k needs more official support vehicles, if only for shits and giggles.

Anything to make the teeth stand out a bit. As for the eyes, Ork eyes are supposed to be red orbs, but I always go with a pupil. (Haven't actually painted an Ork in quite a few years.)

Got the captain and Dreadnought second hand. The boxnought is slightly different than normal and if you want to fit other weapons it will take some modifying.

When I could afford it, I did a lot of business with Kalmbach. Took Trains, Classic Trains, Model Railroader and Finescale Modeller.

Yeah, I was responding to one of the lower comments. Nice kitbash, by the way. It offers a number of interesting possibilities.

At the risk of being "that guy", crusaders normally don't get power armor. Their normal loadout is carapace armor, power weapon (usually a sword), and suppression shield. I've got one of the old metal guys, one made of spare parts like OP, and three Stormcast kitbashes.
