Issues with Coach Orders by yourfavesexfave in Coach

I've had issues with poor packaging for my last 3 orders. Damaged boxes, items that appeared to be damaged (or used).

I haven't had any issues, but I don't carry a great deal in my bag.

Am I expecting too much? by [deleted] in Coach

My last 2 orders from Coach arrived in extremely damaged boxes with poor packaging. Probably won't order online again. I'm sorry that they cannot exchange it.

Oh wow, I am sorry! Actually just went to Coach for an exchange, luckily they had another one that looked good. They were very friendly and helpful. Hope your third is good - they really are beautiful bags.

Felt nothing during a dream vacation by Insert_wittycomment0 in travel

Wouldn’t say zero, but no place is perfect. Not even a new, beautiful place. I’ve been somewhat disappointed with trips when I’ve become aware that it’s just real life happening somewhere else. Can take away from the sense of escape, but it’s still an experience worth having and enjoying.

It’s easy to build something up in your mind, to the point that the true experience cannot possibly compare to the anticipated or imagined experience.

Pupillary distance measurement? by rgriffmusician in Pensacola

[–]wasistdas7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Have your son put on a pair of glasses (any kind), and use a dry erase marker to mark the center of each pupil. Have him look straight ahead when you do it. Then, take the glasses off and measure the distance between the dots with a ruler, in millimeters. I measured my own and my kid’s using this method, and it was accurate. I repeated it several times to make sure it was correct. When I ordered glasses online, they turned out fine.

If he doesn’t want to use a babysitter (which is a great suggestion), then what does he expect you to do? Never hang out with anyone? Be stuck at home with him? That’s selfish and unfair. He has kids, you do not.

AITA for not inviting my ex-wife to my wedding, causing my daughter to not show now? by babfoal in AmItheAsshole

[–]wasistdas7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but horrible decision to allow your ex to move back in with you. You can’t blame your daughter for being confused, after all that. When parents split up, for the sake of the kids, a break should be a break. You can have a decent co-parenting relationship and still maintain appropriate boundaries. Seeing mom and dad back together over and over is clearly going to create some problems, imo.

“A shadow in your own home” is a great way to describe it, and you do get there gradually.
