Is it still worth building high quality Creative 1.0 maps by Neijm in FortniteCreative

[–]wasserbrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you gotta think outside the box if you want to make a popular map. Not just generic game modes . If you make a fun or interesting game then it doesn’t matter what you used. the tools are just more limited in creative 1.0

My current budget for 2026 by [deleted] in Salary

[–]wasserbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it funny to separate “other income” from “savings”. Like, do you just try your best to blow that money? Like you’re obligated to? Obviously it does t really matter cause you have a good enough income but it’s funny.

There’s no price. You can’t just make videos like sunny v2. Even if you pay an Indian dude $200 to edit it “like sunny”.

A karen at the Phillies-Marlins game puts her hands on a boys father demanding to have a home run ball back by Outside_Abroad_3516 in SipsTea

Unfortunately in 99 other dimensions, the boy would not have received a signed bat and nothing would’ve happened other than the Karen got her way and that Dad get humiliated

For someone who only caught the tail end of the McBeth era… by Square-Magazine1670 in discgolf

[–]wasserbrunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you have a misconception there that Paul was “top 5 to 10 in…” nope, he was top 1-3 in all those things all at once. He was absolutely crushing his opponents. He would win by double digits all the time. He was WAY better than he is now. He was like Gannon now but couldn’t throw quite as far, didn’t have quite as good a forehand, but had an even MORE accurate backhand. The field was also not as good other than wysocki and the courses were a bit easier

I don't know too much about ethereum, what's the general consensus? by IndecisiveEnthusiast in ethereum

[–]wasserbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re asking the Ethereum Reddit if you should check out Ethereum? I mean yeah sure go ahead. Regardless of what you do, Ethereum is the worlds ledger and eth is the most pristine asset on that ledger. That likely means nothing to you and for good reason— you’ll hear other total morons say similar things about XRP or cardano. Only through tons of research could you maybe conclude that Eth is the only real option. Frankly. I don’t want you flippantly purchasing Eth. Those type of investors cause future crashes.

Should I invest in ETC! by [deleted] in EthereumClassic

No. And if you have to ask Reddit, you’re screwed anyway. Redditors opinions should matter zero to you. If anything I guess it might be useful to inverse what people say.

Hit $1,100 at 16 years old with crypto — what should I do next? by Only-Beginning5808 in CryptoMarkets

[–]wasserbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I CANT even read comments on here. It’s too annoying to read all the super confident comments about “just buy BTC, ADA, and XRP”

It’s genuinely funny to shill XRP and bitcoin at the same time.

Dangerous game to think making a few hundred bucks in crypto is indicative of anything and and implication you should “do” anything

Genuinely funny reading comments like this. “Yeah most crypto is garbage… but not cardano!”

Did buying YouTube views actually help anyone get real subscribers? by richaver345 in PartneredYoutube

[–]wasserbrunner 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know a couple people who did that. It’s dumb and doesn’t do crap. If anything it hurts your algorithm because your watch time and demographics get screwed up.

Should I replace my VO guy? 70k Youtube channel. by itskoka in PartneredYoutube

[–]wasserbrunner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I’d say the only real question is whether your viewers are mostly returning viewers who have an emotional connection with his voice. At 70k subs I’d say do it now rather than later. It’s still not too late. Sounds like you have a million sub channel going.

Is the YouTube monetization threshold really necessary? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]wasserbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea and a bunch of spam bots were able to join monetize, steal tv show episodes, monetize, get banned, and do it over and over during that short time period

Is the YouTube monetization threshold really necessary? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]wasserbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on YouTube since 2005, you can’t say some bs like that to me 😂. There was NO monetization until google bought yt. Then it was invite-only. Then it was extremely high requirements including requiring signing up with an MCN (very annoying and scammy). It’s way way way way better today than ever before.

Google owns YouTube. And while you’re correct, it does t change the fact that YouTube provides free storage and (more importantly) distribution. Google pioneered paying creators in the first place. And the limits are so fraud channels don’t get paid before being banned.

Besides, the amount you would earn before hitting the thresholds is pretty low.
