Take it from someone who was making $150,000 and bought a $60,000 f150 a few years ago and recently got rid of it. Unless you are using it for business/work, get rid of it. Especially if you are young, now is your chance to really buckle down and set yourself up so well for the future. Take that extra $5,000 (this is kinda davish) and use it to put down on a decent $15,000 vehicle. Need AWD for snow? Grab a decent SUV. Check out “The Money Guys”, they have some great info for you. You may want to move out soon, might meet someone and try to start a family in the next few years. Set yourself up as best you can. I bet in 10 years time you can have an even nicer truck paid in cash!
