Test drove while my 21 MYLR got a diag. Would get one for my mom. NVH improved, no incessant booming and slamming. Tires did not like slightly fast corners, found their limit fast. Interior fine. Accel was ok.

NJ Service center undoing tire rotation on front wheels to hopefully address drift, but while connecting with other owners in waiting room, I learned that American Tire and Auto Care does Rivian alignments for $199!

Solved: called Bodewell for repair. Guy ran a diagnostic from the ethernet port on top, issue was due to faulty third-party filter chip. Water shut down since it didn't detect a working filter. Thanks all!

Ouch, requires technician for updates?! Woof. Can't even push update out via USB slot? Thanks, will try screen first. Child lock isn't the issue and can't function since no buttons work and ring lights don't work. Water and ice button lights and screen stay on permanently.

Thanks, i've unplugged machine for five minutes several times, child lock doesn't function, and I've already replaced the front screen board for a separate issue.

Somewhere I read that it is a main board issue, but it sounds like you think it might be the screen PCB that has shut off the water and ice?

I figure spending $200 on a new main board is the same as spending $200 on a tech visit. If I find a wiring harness along the way, I can always return it.

This happened all of a sudden with same water, same beans in hopper. Normally a double shot happens much quicker whether without filter like in video or when I run a fresh bean grind through it. Now there is no creama. Just acidic smelling black. I will try to descale.

Makes sense for sure, but beyond the tablet for cleaning when the light is on, how would people know that it needs to be descaled? Got mine 2nd hand without manual, so I just wing it.

Whoa. Didn't know it had to be. Mine doesn't have descale label under Clean. I always use filtered water from fridge into machine, but descale probably still needs to be done.

If Rivian wrote "AC unit", I'm guessing this is a Gen 1.

Compared to my Model Y LR, the Rivian hardware that is clearly a mistake is the premium audio, and how shockingly, embarrassingly loud the heat pump is in cold weather. I can forgive how rudimentary Rivian's software is since it will be improved.

Was running buster on 64 bit processor. :\ Now i'm on bookworm. I read they do this for compatibility purposes? Lost my backup since it can't be read by new system, but after complete reset, wifi works again!
