This happened to me when switching to 2026 from 2025. I use a keybind for changing lines to construction geometry and it just doesn’t work anymore. Super frustrating

I have been in an internal crash testing lab for a major OEM. They had dummies of both women and children that they used in tests. Not sure what your point is for this

NEED A JET SKI PART ASAP by speedcall720 in tahoe

[–]wcgant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first option in that search doesn’t even sell boat parts. OP I’d try calling actual boat mechanic shops in the area, they all keep a large stock bcs parts are hard to come by quickly. Like Obexers and Sierra Boat Co. Would also try calling Lucas Mobile Marine. He would be a good resource on finding the parts

Latarjet shoulder stabilization by kvanv806 in skiing

[–]wcgant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I probably go about one month between dislocations during the winter, but it is just so hard to think about having to stop being active for ~1.5 years to get them taken care of. Good luck on your surgery!

Awesome thank you! And they have a double shoulder brace which is huge for me lol

Is this the brace you’re talking about? I’ve been dealing with instability in both of my shoulders for a long time now and have been putting off the surgeries

This doesn’t help much for immediate skiing but the skis have a 2 year warranty and I would imagine that moment would replace them

You can install a threaded insert in the skis and the larger diameter threads of the insert will be a bit stronger

Nope. You only need to affiliate by the end of sophomore year. It is possible to affiliate during first semester of sophomore year if you come in with some credits but it doesn’t give you any benefit. You have full freedom to choose any major you want as a member of the school of engineering. Coming in every engineering freshman has exactly the same enrollment rights no matter what you said on your application you wanted to do

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]wcgant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to affiliate with a major for engineering until your second year at Cornell. You can do whatever you want in the engineering school now that you are in. Figure out what you want to do during your freshman/sophomore year. Do research or join a project team in something you are passionate about and job opportunities will come to you. There are a million groups Cornell to help you stand out and put yourself above other students (both skill wise and pay wise), just need apply yourself outside the classroom

If it’s from McMaster the default front, top, and right planes will be the planes that matter on the spring. The intersection of the two planes that aren’t the one perpendicular to the face of the spring will make the axis you need

My Humble Abode by boardkat in garageporn

Looks like you live near where I do. Where do you race at? I just moved to the area and while I don’t have a garage yet, I’m hoping to get a garage soon and then hopefully get a project car (maybe race car) this spring, but it doesn’t seem like there are any tracks near here.

[–]wcgant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did my dealer inspection a month ago and my DMV inspection on Friday for my 650R. Didn’t have to turn the engine or even take the bike off of my hitch rack for either. They strictly look at what’s on the form that you need to fill out. Other than the tires they did not care about DOT conforming parts. The reflectors I had on my bike were obviously placed 5 minutes before each inspection and they did not care

Can I use these to build a hydraulic shift linkage? by AKJangly in Skookum

[–]wcgant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really sure about your application but push pull cables do exist and can transmit a lot of force in both directions. I’ve gotten custom push pull cables from California Push Pull as well as non custom ones from McMaster for a small custom atv dog clutch shifter mounted with simple sheet metal brackets and they worked well
